If you realize that you’re going to be out of town after the cancellation cutoff, contact our customer service team at support@badappleproduce.com. We will arrange to have your box donated to one of our community partners!
Remember: you can customize your order up until 4 days before your delivery at 3PM. If you don’t customize your order by the cutoff, we will default the contents of your box to the items in the previous order that you received, minus any items that we no longer have included in our weekly availability. You can reach out to us at support@badappleproduce.com if you need to make any changes to your order after the deadline, and we will work with you to best accommodate your needs given what we have available in inventory!
While in certain circumstances, we can provide customer service support over the phone, we strongly prefer email communication so that we can avoid playing phone tag with you!
Delivery
Unless you move neighborhoods, your delivery will always arrive on the same day, during the same window.
As a note, we don't include any ice packs in our boxes to reduce packaging waste. Even if you aren't home to accept your delivery, we recommend that you unpack your box and refrigerate all perishable items within six hours of your order's arrival.
Make sure that you enable emails from support@badappleproduce.com to be delivered to your main Inbox. We'll periodically send you delivery reminders and other updates about your account.
Unfortunately, our website infrastructure is supported by a third party software company that does not provide an option to add tips to orders online. We are working to come up with a digital solution. In the meantime, we suggest that customers leave envelopes containing tips on their doorsteps, or with their doormen labeled "For Bad Apple Produce." Your driver will know to collect them.
We're proud to pay our drivers well above the industry standard. We recommend tipping our drivers as an expression of gratitude, but if logistics prevent you from doing so, Bad Apple's philosophy is that our company bears the primary responsibility for providing our employees with a living wage.
Produce
We define local as any product that was farmed and harvested within 150 miles of our packing facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
